Direct Car Rentals in Barbados is a family-owned and operated company that offers Jeeps, Mini Mokes, vans and air-conditioned sedans for short and long-term rental. Our friendly staff will meet customers at the airport or deliver the vehicles to any local address at no additional cost. Our customers are also provided with detailed maps of the island and directions to their destination.


What is Included

**Unlimited Liability & Third Party Personal Injury Insurance**
  • All vehicles are covered by insurance including unlimited liability for passengers and third party personal injury coverage. An optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is available and recommended.

    What is Not Included

    **Tax**
  • Balance due subject to 15% Gov't tax

    **CDW**
  • 1 – Basic CDW – for US$5.00 per day, responsibility for damages is reduced to US$750.00, providing the vehicle is operated in accordance with all conditions of our contract; 2 – Special CDW – for a flat non-refundable fee of US$250.00, client reduces liability for damage to zero.If C.D.W. is declined, the hirer accepts full responsibility for all loss, damage, or loss of the vehicle caused by accident, fire or theft, regardless of who is at fault. Customers declining the CDW may be required to leave an additional deposit

    **Permit**
  • Visitor's permit required to drive in Barbados at a cost of $5.00/permit

    **Airport Delivery**
  • A US$6.00 plus 15% tax fee is charged for all airport deliveries and the same for airport collections. This cost will be built into your overall rental fee and charged at delivery. We begin airport deliveries at 9.00 am and end at 7.00 pm. After 7.00 pm a US$15.00 charge will be incurred up until 9.00 pm.

    General Terms

    **Age Requirement**
  • Drivers must be over 21 and under 70 years of age. Each driver must have held a valid driving license for at least three years.

    **Additional Drivers**
  • We allow 2 drivers per vehicle on contract at no additional cost for the 2nd driver; 2 additional drivers may be added at a cost of US$25.00 per driver, capping off at 4 drivers in total per vehicle

    **Payment **
  • •Payment is made for the hire at the time of delivery, and we accept credit cards (Visa, Discover or Mastercard), local and foreign cash (U.S., Canadian or Sterling) or travellers cheques.

    **Cancellation Policy**
  • Separate from Caribbean Cars cancellation policy on the deposit amount- A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for cancellations or adjustments of bookings; in the event of this not being done, your credit card will be run in the amount of the full rental fee quoted.
